I would take conerway over Malik Mack all day long. And Conerway fits the coaches profile perfectly, elite defender and distributer.

Potential 3 and D guy to play alongside Wilkerson or is he an alternative? Know nothing about him individually but as fun and as electric as UNF was offensively, they were equally as bad defensively.

Conerway is tough. I would be more disappointed missing on him than Wilkerson. I watched Mack this year a few times and it seemed like the step up from the Ivy was too much.

Hypothetically, conerway (defensive guard), Wilkerson (scoring guard), miles (athletic wing), Tucker (stretch 4), and Bailey (offensive 5) is really nice on paper. Very aware it’s wishful thinking, just thinking aloud . I still wonder about rim protection but I’m sure that will come eventually

Ok so let me start by saying my buddy hates the portal as a mid major coach because they develop guys like Lanier and out their blood,sweat, and tears into them and then lose them to high majors because they get no support financially for NIL… with that being said I asked my buddy and he said yes he’s visiting and he also said the following when I asked if he was good enough for big ten and high caliber guy: sure, he is as good as any other mid major mercenary looking for a pay day. Any player that comes from our program is high character and high academic and good at shooting the 3.

So which is he a mercenary wanting a payday or a high character, high academic kid? Maybe your friend has sour grapes and needs to move up to a high manor job. Lol.

Absent other info I would not assume Jasai Miles is a scramble to fill the Wilkerson spot, these visits don’t just get set up overnight
