• We lost the turnover battle (IU 12- PSU 11)
• We lost the rebounding battle (IU 30-PSU 33)
• We lost steals (IU 5- PSU 6)
• We lost free throws (IU 14 of 25 - PSU 26 of 30)
• We lost the battle from three (IU 2 of 15 - PSU 9 of 21)

This is a losing formula.  We have to be extremely efficient on 2-point shots to make up for it and that's just not realistic against good teams.  Still very few changes in the way we play all year.  Coaching malpractice.

In the Knight era I remember distinctly it being bragged about how we made more fts than the opponents attempted.
