What types of reactions do you envision? Are you embellishing or do you really believe IU fans will become violent? Should Woodson be concerned for his safety, and that of his family?
First there is a level of concern probably for every high major coach at least on some level. People are crazy and unpredictable imo. I have been a fan since I was 4 years old and I want woodson gone more than anyone or as much as anyone. Watching last night I was almost in tears because of how sad it was to see what's become of iu basketball. Who knows what crazy people might do if they also care. The crowd seemed restless and chanting and booing is not a safe environment for anyone. I mostly feel bad for people who have young kids or older folks having to be in that building hearing and seeing such devastation. The only path forward is removing the man who is unquestionably responsible. Quinwoodson

I agree, it would provide a visceral solution for some, but it wouldn’t impact the long term health of the program, which should be the objective.

Action matters. The administration sitting silently on their thumbs sends the message that they are content and accepting of the current state of the program. Silence is concurrence.

Not sure why this thread is so active… Kathy has made it pretty clear. We’re supposed to sit here stone faced until the end of the year and mindlessly say “go IU” the whole time… anything else is patently absurd and overly emotional. Lol
I just gotta get these guys... again I got 7 new players. There is a process per Kathy before we hire randy wittman next.

I really don't care if they let the night janitor take over. Just need to show possible candiates that we are serious and the job is open now.

Martha The Mop Lady it is!  Can she start today?

I think we all see the writing on the wall. Mike Woodson will not be the head coach next season, it’s all but a done deal at this point.
Crean got 9 years
Tge king gets 9 years. He has 7 new players!!!!

Hopefully not.  But you never know.  Millions of fans with some definite crazies in the mix who have been **** on by this administration for 25 years.  Keeping him on until the season is over you risk something like a Dave Bliss situation that brings down not just the basketball program but the university.

Why do that when we all know he’s gone?  That’s some very inept and irresponsible management.

Mike Davis and Dan Dakich come to mind as a couple of data points. I guess Pat Riley was a good interim coaches several decades ago.

So your answer is no, you do have a couple debatable anecdotes though.

You can't be taken seriously worrying about this.

At this point let him stay and get booed every single game to become ths least popular coach in history. Let Kathy's process play out. Make the king live a nighmare.
