Seen the clip on Twitter again of Ballo and Dallas James cracking up while it’s a 3 point game with Winthrop. I hope some day Carlyle is on a podcast with like Jeff Teague and talks about this moment because the way he slowly turns his head and Malik makes a stank face looks like a sitcom moment big time.

Teams that win by this wide of margin are well coached, in sync with each other, in selfish and have totally bought in to the coach and his assistants!
……..this sounds like a couple IU programs currently on campus and NOT men’s BB!

Dolson currently has Moren and Cignetti, both coaches with blueprints and results very similar to my post above.

Dolson’s on the clock. When and who will be his pick? 2025 could end up being a beaut’ after all!

It’s even worse knowing Ballo was likely held out of the game for disciplinary reasons.  He doesn’t care — win, lose, play, don’t play, NIL is guaranteed.

Rumor has it Tyme is a former player. No idea which player. But someone who likes the idea of a IU guy coaching. I wouldn’t sweat him blocking you. He got ran off this site earlier this year.  I wouldn’t sweat ask him point blank questions he couldn’t answer sufficiently. Dude has a clear agenda of only an IU guy and not to win.

That dude is a complete clown. He has nothing to back up his argument of Indiana being worthy of defending on the internet day in and day out. If Mike Woodson actually had this program running in the right direction, maybe he could talk the way he talks. However, Indiana Basketball is going in the wrong direction with zero signs of life. He's making himself look like a complete clown defending this pathetic program.

That's a juicy lawsuit.  It will be interesting if players getting shortchanged on "promises" have much luck in court.

I'm glad IU appears to do a good job paying out promised NIL.

Goode is smart and well coached but if he’s not hitting shots he gets absolutely bullied on the defensive end. You are right about his movement, him being shot ready, him attempting the right things on D. But in the end it doesn’t matter if your guy can drive you and bully you into a layup every possession. He gets a lot of great looks because he’s well coached but he has to make 3 or 4 of them. The D is bad.

No complaints from Hatton tonight. He was excellent everywhere. I’ve mostly enjoyed his play all season in the little amount of time he gets.

Yeah, he’s got physical limitations and if they really want to get him small ball 4 minutes in the B1G it damned well better be with Ballo and not Reneau. Every time he drops that Reneau/Goode/Tucker front line I just have this vision of UM playing absolute volleyball on the boards against them.

It'll be Hatton/Goode/Tucker, because while we don't play Michigan until February, Malik has already picked up three unnecessary fouls against them.

Malik is currently sitting on the future UM game bench grimacing and muttering "no way!" because no one has taught him to establish position and back the offensive player out.

Tyme is one of the dumbest people I've ever seen on X.  He was dead wrong about this season.  His posts are embarrassing.  And now the blame the fans narrative is starting from him and the pro-Woody crew because they have nothing else to go to after Woody still struggled with top-5 NIL.  Sometimes I even see them try to criticize the FB program -- they are a desperate bunch.  Many of them will root against IU once Woody is fired.

Fans are not the problem.  In fact, one of the few blue blood/elite thing we have left are our fans.  But fans just cheer, donate, and react to wins/losses (almost entirely online -- in person the team is treated like gods 99% of the time).  Fans don't recruit and coach the team that either wins or loses (duh).

There is not that much pressure to coach or play at IU.  The bar isn't that high.  After Woody's first two mediocre to okay years, fanbase support was very strong.  Things only went south when TJD left and Woody's program literally imploded.  Show me a fanbase happy with an imploding program.  Go back to the Crean years -- fans were impressively patient during three very down years of rebuilding.

The fact is IUBB has broken the unwritten pact with the fans.  Fans really want to support IUBB, but IUBB has to put forth maximum effort and make a competent attempt to be good.  Everyone sees the lack of effort, from recruiting to on the court, and we all know the pathetic behind the scenes stories too.  Everyone sees the lack of competence, from missing on almost every HS recruit for two years despite top-5 NIL, to all the bad losses/blowouts to programs with far less resources.

Maybe even worse than the lack of effort and competency, is Woody and others around the program refusing take responsibility and ownership for the results on the court.  This is the most basic thing they need to do to succeed, and they can't even do that.  They blame injuries, blame fans, blame recruits, and try to argue they're actually doing well.  Pathetic.

Woody and his cronies have done serious damage to IUBB.  And it appears they aren't done.  On the way out, it looks like we'll get another attack on the fans, which will turn more people off on IUBB.  It's a shame, IUBB is special, but the people running it have ruined it.  I can only hope Scott and the next coach can completely clean house and get rid of the toxic leadership that has wrecked the program.

So they brought in their iu guy who in turn is destroying the program and trashing fans. You literally can't make this stuff up.

It’ll always make me nuts the way a kid who’s a pretty good athlete with really good feet doesn’t maintain knee bend and can’t keep his weight centered. Again, coaching problem.

Total side note: Am I the only one who really liked that uni for the girls but didn’t like it for the guys? No idea why.

yeah when he comes and wipe the floor with Woody.  I hope I'm wrong and Woody will say that I'm not a true fan.  Well he is right I'm not a true fan of clueless.

I seriously think after Hatton's 3rd foul was called at the exact time, camera panned over to Dallas saying to Ballo "hey I might get in".  Which caused the reactions that my guess of what transpired.  Somewhat innocent.

I think Dusty can still be ours. He breaths IUBB. As mentioned in my post above, his buyout isn’t very large —  that was done purposely

Our timing will stink because they will see about giving him an extension just before this clown fires the ringmaster of the circus.  Dolson better have some back channels to Dusty if that is the guy he wants because Michigan will do everything they can to keep that from happening.

This and the amount that IU and others have shelled out in NIL along with FB in general shows why the NCAA needs to get some guts and put in some rules for NIL.  The P4 will break away in the next few years because of the portal and NIL is something I firmly believe will happen.  The players deserve the money, but the ease of transferring needs to be tightened up.  Also, Fire Mike Woodson before he gets to a chance to abruptly retires like Larranaga did.

I definitely want him fired (and not allowed to "retire") ... but if he quits mid-season and walks away, I could live with that.

I am apprehensive about Dolson hiring Woodson's replacement. I don't know how much Quinn Buckner influenced the decision to hire Woodson. If he was heavily involved then the Governor needs to remove Buckner when his term on the Board of Trustees is up.
