The only way they can do right by the fans after this season is to hire a real winner. If we could get it right in football, we can absolutely do the same in basketball. This has gone on long enough … wake the sleeping giant that is IUBB (next season)

What are the actual F&&& are you talking about? Are you feining being insulted by being called a Woodson cultist? You may actually be more thin skinned than Woodson himself(clutches pearls).

I'm having a hard time that referring to someone as a cultist is that big of a deal and I personally have said a whole lot worse face-to-face.  And so I'm clear is Steubenhoosier your surname or is your full name actually Steuben Hoosier?

I, for one, would definitely call someone a Woodson cultist to their face if they had the audacity to defend his handling of our program to my face. 
 

I try to give you the benefit of the doubt, but bringing up “forum guidelines” is seriously funny work. You’re quickly going from quirky Mike Woodson apologist to Fire Mike Woodson Thread official troll. Your message board persona projection is a two way street man.

I would have more interest in this years team if Woodson was gone. It is hard for me to watch such a poorly coached team. But bringing in a intearn coach who gets them playing better and making the tournament and make a little run in tournament could be a problem.

Correct. I just wonder honestly what the expectations of the 6 million dollar boosters were? Or was it just access to cigar smoking

IMO, as long as Woody gets his money and some sort of made up resignation story to make it sound like not a firing, he'll stay fairly quiet, this whole thing has mostly been about status and money for Woody.  But, maybe I am wrong and he goes out ugly.  We'll see.

Screw "mak[ing] it sound like not a firing". I  know that Scott Dolson would never do it, but Woodson deserves a full scorched earth dismissal for his hubris, his record and what he's done to Indiana University, the school that he supposedly loves.

Big picture I’d bet anything he will be gone after this season.

That should make us happy but there will be some outrage on this board as the dismissal/retirement, however it is labeled, will be as gracious as possible including a huge bag, containing millions of dollars, to reward him for his “service”…LOL

Yeah I’m honestly really hoping he doesn’t get the kind “retirement” angle to his departure. His behavior during his tenure has been anything but graceful, so I’m not looking to see him get a “retirement” cop out. He’ll already be getting a multi-million dollar gift in the way of his buyout.
