Just to keep the delusion going… maybe nothing has leaked yet because all the final details are still being worked out by the lawyers… if they’ve decided to part ways immediately - per Woodson’s “I quit!” tantrum - there’s nothing really for Mike’s camp to leak. The fact there is silence, instead of being reactionary, might be signaling they are taking a more professional approach. This latest turn is only a little over 24 hours old, and possibly complicated by a man who is cornered and reacting emotionally at whatever is happening. This man also has very powerful friends.

I don’t? I’ve seen several posts here in the past that have used Seth Davis’ proclamation of Stevens one day coaching IU as confirmation. Now all of the sudden his opinion doesn’t matter? Weird how that works.

Brad Stevens is not going to be IU's coach. 

Tell yourself that over and over and maybe you'll be pleasantly surprised. I still have no confidence in the admin and all the loopholes Scott Dolson has to jump through to do his job. They've proven to be incompetent beyond belief. Scott nailed it with Cignetti. If he doesn't have full reign to get his guy, might be time to find a new team to root for,

There's probably more than 1 attorney involved in what's currently transpiring and until everybody's satisfied with the language in a final retirement/resignation/termination agreement we won't hear anything official from the university.

I thought there an official announcement.  TheDailyHoosier stating:  “IU publicizing Woodson departure now was the only choice”.  And there were other articles.  I read it that he’s contemplating retirement totally from basketball, but has left the door open to entertain offers, but that won’t be IU.  I could be wrong but that is how I read it.
