The “compromise” by Dolson to let this go down this way saved us some good cash on the buyout. Lot of litigation today. Make no mistake about it, this was not Woody’s decision to retire.

Shows how bad the staff is. Galloway had 1 good shooting year. Johnson can win you the game or be so bad you'd think he's a double agent, you don't know which you'll get minute to minute much less game to game.

And sorry, keeping him isn't a good idea just because we didn't fire Miller when we should have.

Kentucky would’ve fired Archie when he lost 12 games during a 13 game span in conference play. But we’re IU, we’re better than that, so we kept him another two years. And since we kept him four years we have to keep Woodson at least four years too. Probably should do 5 years just to be safe.

Lol no. It's Indiana, bad coaches have to have enough time to really make a mess of things.

After they suck next year, maybe. If the powers that be are willing to take the black eye of firing a guy a program legend.

Say we lose 6 of the last 7. What then? Do you REALLY think we continue to role with Woody? Surely not, right? 
He will win just enough not to be fired.

You must be new. Literally the only chance Woodson isn't back is if he decides to retire.

This is Indiana, we don't fire bad coaches when we should.

At Kentucky he may not have made it through that 12 game span before the fans ran him out of town.

May need to give Woodson longer. Don't want the optics of being a bunch of big meanies that keep firing the crappy coaches we keep hiring.

Complete and utter embarrassment! Woody needs to do the right thing and step down gracefully - leave w/some dignity and good will. He’s brought in around $15M in 3 yrs…that seems pretty fair to me. The train is off the rails. Beyond terrible results, the system looks dysfunctional on both offense and defense. Not going to get many high level kids signing up for that. The time for change is now.

This is Indiana and Woodson is a program legend. Yes, I absolutely think that. The decision makers have shown just how deeply unserious they are about this program.

This year has been so embarrassing he should pay some of that back.
