But long-thought-out decisions have been great with this administration. Do you ever go home some days and say you know what I might be part of the problem?

What “long-thought-out-decisions” are you referring to? You seem to think this is a recent issue with IU, and it’s far from that. But it’s not the process, it’s the leadership. If you have insight into IU, this isn’t revelatory.

We’ve reached the “players are tweeting at Dakich” point of the season. Luke Goode should probably just stay away from social media..

This is pathetic, Luke. They all need to get off social media. At least during the season. Get in the gym and off your phone. Guarantee you he apologizes for this.

Dumb move on his part! Dakich knows. IDC how good of a player he was or interim coach at IU, he is spot on with takes!

Let the season play out?
Sure; maybe we will do that.

Make a decision based on the results to date and the long term benefit of the program?!!?

Good lord; unless you’re talking about who the replacement will be, it’s way way WAY past the time for that.

The verdict is in. The jury has spoken. The evidence is irrefutable, extensive, and complete, and the results of the Mike Woodson era are that it will not continue beyond, at most, the end of the season.

The verdict was out last year.  he must have appealed to a higher court, LOL

I think people would be more inclined to sign on to these esoteric posts if you were straightforward enough to also agree with and clearly state the obvious; that Mike Woodson has been a failure as the head coach and that he will be replaced very soon, at the latest at the end of this season.

Neither of those interim solutions worked well for us. Look at the landscape of college and pro sports and provide examples of interim coaches, appointed after a coach was fired for performance, succeeded. Ed Orgeron was hired at USC after Pat Haden blew out Lane Kiffin, but his tenure there was short-lived. Temporary fixes are just that - it’s baling wire and duct tape.

Dude, that is the very definition of Interim.

Dakich might be accurate with this take, but he is also wildly inaccurate, and agenda driven for many others. It's 9 o'clock twice a day no matter what.

Already said he should be replaced at the end of the season unless we make a dramatic turnaround, which is highly unlikely. So, asked and answered.

I don't know who, but it's clear some people in the program have started an anti-fanbase sentiment that has spread quite a bit the past year and half.  We see it with Kathy, but also Woody (true fans), some of the players (y'all need to chill), Tyme, SDB, and a few other posters with some program connection on various boards

Interestingly, as you note, the fans are one of the best things IUBB still has going for it... that and NIL.

IUBB has been a mess for a long time, but this is a new low.  This program is so incapable of taking responsibility they'll even point fingers at the fans... the fans that are somehow, after 25 years of terrible basketball, still caring, donating, and cheering for any sort of reasonable effort.

My old boss had a saying -- "Business would be great without customers."  You get rid of the fans and there are no expectations.

Name you best interim coaches (Eddie O got fired by LSU - oops, since he wasn’t a qualified HC).

Steve Fischer won a national championship after Michigan let Frieder go. Even the guy last year at Ohio St. did a very good job.

QB cares deeply about the University and the basketball program. Disagree with him all you want, but the “he doesn’t care” stuff is ridiculous, with all due respect.

If he "cared" as you say, why wouldn't he do everything he could to get a competent coach in place?  Instead he forces his unqualified buddy on us.  Please, we may have been born at night, but it wasn't last night.
