What really grinds my gears is that a good Coach would use his popularity to help get women's team more NIL money or resources.  They do that at Duke and UNC by having dinners with specific donors or private basketball lessons.  

Crean may not have gotten the job done on the floor.... but I remember, even AFTER he was fired, he showed up to the game to support the women... would that have been the NIT Championship year?

I'm also calling shenanigans on Penn St averaging 8,000+ per game in that mausoleum. I'm sure 7,500 of that 'attendance' are donors that had to purchase them to get their cushy football seats and don't even know they have them.

P.S. I know that PSU is likely to beat us 3 times in the same season.

I’m in agreement that we need a new coach but your comparison of Payne vs Woody is laughable.  Payne went 12-52 in his first two years while Woodson went to the tourney (with admittedly poor results) both of his two first years.

 

EDIT: On a side note….. recruiting, NIL, portal etc makes college coaching a royal pain in the @$$ but the exit plans are sweet. Payne is scheduled to receive $8,000,000 for doing a terrible, terrible job.

At the end of the season Dolson who is furious with Woodson for calling out the fans, sits down with him to discuss the season, to see what the plan is for next year. So Coach let's start with Mgbako getting arrested. Is that the second or third arrest in your tenure?

OK let's move on to not beating any good teams in the nonconference. Then we didn't start very well in the Big Ten, but I will give you credit we ended well. Next, our recruiting is not going very well why is that? Next, I've noticed you have missed your radio show several times this year. You do know that you are contractually obligated to be there every Monday right? 

Well, I'm going to be honest and don't think you are the person to lead us any longer in Men's basketball. Mike Woodson as my good buddy Trish says YOUR FIRED.

That is how I'm picturing the season-ending talk to go.

We are underdogs to Penn State at the moment.  11th place in Big Ten but still swept our brilliant NBA mind even though they had a coaching flip this year, Penn State.

I know it won't matter to the people who have already made the decision but losing to that crap @$$ team a third time in a year should be inexcusable if it occurs.
