So if this happens you’re on the record that the most incompetent AD on the planet, Scott Dolson, hit a home run? :)

I will give Scott Dolson full credit if he pulls this off and will have no problem in doing so. Accountability is a two way street ya know.

Cigs has a decent resume and all but at the same time it kinda feels like the mid major flavor of the month kinda thing. I’ll support him till he proves me wrong. Be good to not have a goofball on the sidelines.

Ehh, he's won his conference 5 years in a row. And the first 2 years of being FBS.  He's been successful his entire coaching career, so I wouldn't necessarily call him a flavor of the month type hire.

Initially, I wasn't crazy about hiring a 62-year-old, but the idea is starting to grow on me.

Tom Herman remains my No. 1 choice, but I'm ready to hop on the Cignetti train.

Just hope the B-town Banners troops aren't getting set up for a letdown -- ala Billy Donovan and Brad Stevens.

Check his resume closer.  He's more like flavor of the decade.

After watching the interview sign me up for cigs. I am not jacked about any of the candidates. I do however believe most can be successful if we can get the horses. Therefore we should hire whoever can get the best players to come here imo.

Ehh, give me 6-8 years of a guy who knows how to win and build a program over 3-4 years of Hart/Frye and repeating the process.

So, it's ok to hire a football coach who's 62, but our basketball coach is too old?

Make it make sense!

IUP, Elon and James Madison….he’s been a winner which is important. B1G football is a whole different animal.

Is that you Jim Tressel?

Would add he’s won at places with no history/business winning, and through a transition…to FBS, not a larger version of their own conference, but still

JMU has a very good and successful tradition albeit in the FCS

Have you seen the Bulls play lately?  I think we may have dogged a bullet with Donovan.  :)
