Sorry, just bored. Lol Ok I looked this up because I had never thought about it. Apparently it’s simply directly related to going nuts like an ape does and then just adding s**t to the end of it because that’s what we (English speakers) do. Aside from that, whoever Cig can get that can take the heat I’ll be happy with. We likely won’t be able to judge him based on Portal results as he isn’t Star hunting. I’m not convinced he gets anything done at the level of the B1G, but I’m here to watch him try. Proof will be in the pudding on field. Not much else will matter. Sent from my iPad using BtownBanners If he can be as good as Mallory we will have done well. Hopefully, Cigs can be even better but good to remember that Mallory went winless his first year. maharkn Posted December 8, 2023 Posted December 8, 2023 Allen seemed to go after bigger targets at the receivers, it seems that the new staff is going for speed which is something IU teams have lacked for years Sent from my Pixel 6a using Tapatalk Artie86 1 Quote

The stadium was more insane than I'd ever seen it before and ever saw it since. On par with our basketball environments for sure, I was at the front of the student section and soooo ready to rush the field. I had my spot picked out and everything. I was gutted. I feel like that energy was a glimpse of what CCC will be able to recreate and I'm looking forward to it/happy the students will have a chance to see us actually win a game like that. We've got the $$ resources and, now the staff, to build a team worth getting excited for. That in itself has me pretty giddy. Sudfeld had a cannon on him. Jordan Howard was a beast. I was there! mamasa, thebigweave, craigyv88 and 1 other 4 Quote

That was my favorite IU game I've ever been to, with the Ohio State game that year being a fairly close second. I loved the team that year and I honestly thought they were maybe going to get that elusive big win at the end of regulation against Michigan. Just needed a stop on 4th and goal. That team could have easily been 8-4 with wins over a top-15 Michigan team and a 12-win Western KY team coached by Jeff Brohm, and also played #1 Ohio State to the final play of the game. The potential is there and I also am hopeful CCC can bring that level of excitement back. iuthruandthru, thebigweave, Ryno6284 and 1 other 3 1 Quote
