I'm I the only one who wants the Trey Galloway era to be over . That horse has been worked time for a new pull horse next year . Great young man but gotta be something better out there .

You'll probably be disappointed since he'll likely be back next year.

I’m worried it’ll be Cupps. But yeah.  I’m also not convinced Gunn stays unless he gets things a little more figured out this year.

I don’t think Cupps goes anywhere. He’ll find a way to be useful on any team.  But Gunn’s already been recruited over. He’s just gotten a reprieve because of Newton’s knee. If Stu’s scenario comes to pass and Newton’s knee gets healthy, Gunn has no role and he’s smart enough to get that, whether he agrees with it or not. Would be pretty surprised if he doesn’t move on. He’s not gonna be the next Leal.

Gunn is “skinny Jordan Geronimo?”

Thinking yes.

Gallo is the kind of player that can help win national championships if he’s a secondary piece to the puzzle IMO.

Absolutely. He is the consummate crack filler for a really good team. But if he’s good enough that he’s playing 30 mins in a primary role for you  your guards aren’t good enough.

I’m not even sure he’s that useful. If he’s not making shots he has no other way to help you offensively and really he’s hurting you because he’s gonna get his looks if it kills him. Has a little bit of bad Davonte in him that way but he lacks the good Davonte part because he can’t create looks for himself or anyone else.

His defense has looked better than expected though and on this team, perimeter D is needed.  Now I have only seen 2 games so he could have been terrible on D in the others

moving his visit up from a previous scheduled visit - interesting

I don't recall that a specific date had been set but early on March '24 was the tentative window.  Regardeless, moving the date up is indeed a good sign IMO.

Suggestion to everyone including me.  We need to do a little bit better job with posts that aren't on point with the topic of the thread.  Above, we got into some convo on Gunn and then on Trey and if you just jump into the middle of the thread, you could misread negative comments made on their performance and assume they were negative comments on Sanon.

There was actually a post on page one saying it was set for March 10 vs MSU.

This is a player I'd like to add, especially if he reclasses. Can never have too much talent.

Thanks for the investment of time by you and all the moderators.  Can't help but think of how I sure do miss me some CCG - Capiche?   at the end of that statement. My apologies for going off on yet another tangent.

Championship game of the Scholar Roundball Classic.  Sanon with nearly half his team's total points.

The fouls drawn stat line is pretty cool to see, though I doubt it’s ever right.
