Didn't Schlundt win a natty too? I believe most of them won Big 1.o championships and made it to at least the Sweet 16. Maybe AJ Guyton didn't?

Yes, you are correct. Schlundt played on the 1953 championship team.

SIAP - but this is a nice one:

TJD tonight became the 1st player to score at least 25 with 5 blocks against the #1 ranked team since Marcus Camby in 1995 — and that was against UK, so the 2 players to do that did it against PU and UK, classic

More than likely on Tuesday Trayce becomes the first Hoosier to score 2000 points and grab 1000 boards. Only the second big ten player to do it.

I should note that Trayce will be the only big ten player with these two things and 250 blocks but that does feel like it’s getting too in the weeds

He set the block record despite playing half his career for a coach who didn’t want him to leave the weak side to block in help D. He’s terrific at doing that at the right time, and without selling out to put his teammates in rotation. Mind-boggling.

Love that he’s hitting these milestones while putting the team on his back, leading them into conf contention, leading the team all around this season, and all with grace, no side issues, no distractions.
He’s earned everyone’s respect, while putting the team first.

What a beast. Early in the season my friends and I were discussing who had a better IU career, TJD or DJ White. At the time we all agreed it was a tough choice but now that isn’t even close.

I **** you not....on Hammer and Rails last year earlier in the season they were saying that Caleb Furst was better than TJD.  Not 'going to be better', but WAS better.
