Don’t remember Oliphant playing much if at all but he was fairly well known at the time. Everyone knew who he was.

I remember hearing stories that Oliphant could beat Alford in games of horse more times than not.

Not a scholly player but a walk-on that had hype was Harrison Niego.    Ended up only playing 1 year I think

I've talked to him a couple of times. He was not a fan of Knight. He would be better suited for today's game as he was a good shooter, but pretty soft.
