Somewhere between 2-10 and 5-7. I see 3 or 4 wins being the most likely outcome.

IU doesn’t play WKU next year.

3-9 mostly embarrassing season. One of the three wins will be against someone we shouldn’t beat.

I see no reason to be optimistic, but as the season approaches, I probably will be. I'm taking the over on four wins.

My optimism is rooted in having a good Oline coach.  We should have a good set of receivers and rbs.  If we can get the blocking down we are in business.  Allen is usually able to develop a defense.

It's IUFB, more often than not they find a way to dash optimism. We're talking about the first program to reach 700 losses.

What WRs and RBs do we have outside of Lucas?

I think Camper, Cooper, and McCaulley along with the Clemson and Fordham transfer have lots of potential.  For RBs Henderson was improving toward the end of the year, Lucas, and the transfer from Wake Forest should be a solid combo of power and speed.  To me it all comes down to the Oline which will be improved by getting Bedford back along with a better coach.

Won't have to design something cartoonish...

What happened to that IU character that had a big head that looked like a country guy with a oversized cowboy hat on if I remember correctly…many years ago???  Remember he scuffled around with other school mascots attempting to provide some side show entertainment.

Side note: In St Louis where I live Hoosier is a pejorative in the same way Kentuckian is used in Indiana. No one has ever been able to explain to me how that evolved from 2 states away.
