TTT Posted October 22, 2022 Posted October 22, 2022 Post game IU player of the game…searching for a warm body…C.B. the qb throws interception for another TD (this time for Rutgers…in his defense under pressure).LOL. Quote

Probably a lot of reasons but it’s hard to overstate how helpful it was to have an OC like DeBoer and Womack as a DC. Plus… The decline of the OL has been a massive issue. Whatever the reason - Hiller/talent/ both - the OL has crushed the offense and keeps the defense on the field too long. Quote
cthomas Posted October 22, 2022 Posted October 22, 2022 I watched the first half and then opted to sit on my deck on a beautiful afternoon instead of watching the second. Looks like a good call. Joe_hoopsier and Loaded Chicken Sandwich 2 Quote

Demo Posted October 22, 2022 Posted October 22, 2022 And then the losingest program in CFB history came to town! Quote
Demo Posted October 22, 2022 Posted October 22, 2022 Suddenly gotten this idea for an IUFB film called “700” with Gerard Butler as Tom Allen. Picturing a climactic scene in which Conner Bazelak throws a spear at Xerxes and misses him high and behind. Ok, I haven’t been drinking, but it may be time to start. go iu bb, jepwatso, Rico and 1 other 4 Quote

Loaded Chicken Sandwich Posted October 22, 2022 Posted October 22, 2022 So the #5 team in the nation has the balls to bench their QB yet we continue with the dude who throws it like he has Willie Cauley-Stein at WR. Hoosierfan2017 and IUFootballHappyHappyJoyJoy 2 Quote

Thought the same thing when I was watching the Clemson game. DJ had 17 tds to 2 ints going into today’s game and they bench him for a bad 2.5 quarters. Our QB won’t get benched no matter how bad he plays. Loaded Chicken Sandwich 1 Quote
WayneFleekHoosier Posted October 22, 2022 Posted October 22, 2022 With Indiana athletics, I don’t have any expectations for IUFB. Too big of a hill to climb. Not sure what we can do except looking to see what Kansas, UNC, and Kentucky have done of late. Seems possible to turn historically bad programs around a little bit at least. My bigger concern with Indiana athletics is we aren’t forcing our claim as a definite blue blood spender for IUBB and you all know already my concerns for a deep drop next year, then what have we done with the momentum. Slippery slope. Could be Tom Allen-esque unless we have some serious plans in store. mamasa and HoosierAloha 2 Quote
mamasa Posted October 22, 2022 Posted October 22, 2022 I’m probably the biggest sunshine pumper (a term I embrace) left here. But, I stopped watching at half. I love CTA, he’s my spirit animal, and completely understand the difficulty of B1G recruiting. But it may be time to play money ball w a different coach. I honestly feel ill saying this- CTA is my favorite coach since Mallory, but we need someone who can bring in 4* recruits w occasional 5*. Quote
TTT Posted October 22, 2022 Posted October 22, 2022 Start by: 2 weeks of practice to work with number one unit and Play Tuttle at QB now and if it works give him the job for 23 season if he will stay. (if he is healthy). This qb C.B. is not good and walks in and is given a chance. I know, teammates haven’t been good either. If it doesn’t work don’t care…want to see Tuttle play and not just hand off the ball and see what happens again in November 2022. Quote

CMW is an accomplished player at the highest level and a respected coach there as well. CTA is none of those things. The basketball program may well fall off some next season but I don't see it being as far as you apparently do. The '24 class will be the one that either propels us forward or not. Even CBK had down years following highly successful years. I'll wait to see how this plays out. I just know that I'm more comfortable with CMW at the helm than I have been with anyone since Coach Knight. Class of '66 Old Fart, Joe_hoopsier and DChoosier 3 Quote
Stuhoo Posted October 22, 2022 Posted October 22, 2022 Y’all probably shouldn’t be loving on the “Kansas reclamation project” quite so much. In their best season in forever this year they are now 2-3 in conference, 5-3 overall. Quote
