Amazing how far recruiting has came under Woodson.   He wanted a seat at the table with the big boys and while some said you had to work your way up to recruiting those type of players here he is this cycle winning a long recruitment battle against Self (who wanted Mcneely badly) and now IU is in the final 2 of a lead out of state  guard that had no IU ties before they started recruiting him and is basically in a 50/50 toss up with Cal and Kentucky when Cal has basically told this kid he will be the lead guard next year.   You now have IU fans saying it will be a disappointment if the staff only gets 1 or 3 top 20 kids.    A disappointing class for some if they only bring in arguably the best shooter in the class.    That’s a matter of opinion if that would be a disappointment or not.    The days of missing out on Matt Cross are hopefully over.  Lol.   He still plays Umass
