That was a good one. My personal favorite was that guy marc-michael (or whatever his name was) was looking like a pro in closed practice. Of course, we were so bad back then my immediate thought wasn’t that Guy was any good but that the rest of posts were terrible. Sadly my intuition was correct there. DChoosier 1 Quote

I'd venture to say the majority of times that doesn't pan out. I've become numb to these types of reports as much as the doctored S&C photos. It's all just noise. Let's see the results on the court. https://x.com/NBADraftWass/status/1840844822875181463 I agree, but this is a kid who dropped a 30 bomb on Arizona and 28 on Washington St. It’s very different than placing expectations on a kid who’s never done it. Guy Marc-Michel finished out at Northern Idaho in 2010 and has been a pro in Europe ever since. Still getting a bball salary in France at age 35! LamarCheeks Posted October 3, 2024 Posted October 3, 2024 FYI -- if anybody's interested ... Woody, Gallo and Rice will be chatting on the B1G Network in a couple minutes. OliviaPope40, ALASKA HOOSIER, Demo and 1 other 4 Quote
MemphisHoosier Posted October 3, 2024 Posted October 3, 2024 Did anyone else see the side-eye Gallo gave Rice when the topic of 8th year players in the league came up? haha Quote
Stuhoo Posted October 3, 2024 Author Posted October 3, 2024 Myles Rice "Woody? He's treated me like his grandson. He's not really one of my grandfathers but I consider him one of my grandfathers." Gallo: Eyebrows up. Side eye to Myles. Trying to contain laughter. Aye caramba! Kinda makes me wish Dusty May (or Micah) would be the coach. Stuhoo Posted October 3, 2024 Author Posted October 3, 2024 Beyond the "Grandpa Woody" moment, this B1G media day has been a masterclass in Myles Rice establishing himself as the team's vocal leader and heart. Gallo said Myles Rice leads like no one else he's played with, and when Myles answers questions you can see why. HoosierHoopster, Hardwood83, thebigweave and 1 other 4 Quote
