I think it helped put IU in his top 5. Not sure it gets us any more than that. Coach Woodson will have to really connect to overcome the allure of Kentucky. Quote

Obviously it’s apropos of nothing, but it’s pretty amazing looking at different online sites and seeing UK fans actually pessimistic on landing a recruit the way some of them seem to be with Evans. St Peter’s really took the starch out of their conceit. Just 1 more reason to love that team. thebigweave, HoosierHoops1, Josh and 2 others 5 Quote

From an article I read he said that UK and Auburn he had good relationships with them. It said IU had a great coaching staff and he had a great relationship with them. I would look at Oregon because he talked about Nike Chris007 1 Quote

Yeah kid said Oregon was his dream school in one of the earlier articles before they were involved. They got involved so most are just connecting the dots. We shall see how it plays out Chris007 1 Quote

We also have a real connection to Kwame Evans’ dad. His dad played college ball against Kenya Hunter, and they have remained friends. If Trayce stays this year and we win a bunch, and Trayce’s spot completely opens up for 2023, this could get special. Tasmanian Devil, lillurk and Hoosierfanyuh 3 Quote

You think he is going to wait that long to make his decision? That would be odd to wait until April to decide on his college choice Quote

Right, he would make his decision before the start of the college basketball season like 6 months from now vs after Trayce plays his final season Hoosierfanyuh and Honkyman 2 Quote

With what happened today - and how Coach is establishing a connection with Monteverde - this scenario very well could play itself out. Quote
