I think similar to Indiana the last four years, it would be more of a check the score after the game ends instead of watching it live type of situation. 

I just don’t see why you fire Woodson to hire a guy 90% of this board hasn’t heard of.

I agree he would be a five star hire. I think he may be the best coach in the Big Ten

I'd give him a chance based on recent performance.

But his buyout is $8+ million. It's not happening.

I would give him a chance and support him. He's a much better coach than Woodson.

I'll give anybody they hire a chance, in my opinion. I have said on here previously that I dont think they can make a hire that is worse than what hiring Woodson was. 

I didn't cut bait with woody, not really. But there are plenty of games that I didn't watch, especially after tjd left. It isn't just the losing by large margins, it was the fact that it wasn't ever really a fun watch to me.

The new coach deserves a fair shot plain & simple.  It will just be a matter of the leash length and contractual clout.

If they hired BB I'd watch even less than this year and this year was the least I've ever watched or cared.

I will say "aw shucks, we didn't get a bigger name..." then resume watching/following the team with great interest.

I will probably reserve personal opinion on whether he will work out or not until after his second season. But I will give him two years to make me a believer. Clemson has been pretty good this year and last. Could do so much worse than Brownell (and we have).  

If I still haven't bought in after two seasons, I'll try to be fair in my assessment of the third year. But if it's not working out after 3 years, I think best to move on and that's not specific to Brownell. "Better than Woody" is not the goal we all agree on that.

Still it would be an upgrade IMO and a step in the right direction. How much of one, time would tell.

I would give him a chance.  I said from the get go that I trust Dolson to make a good hire.  I think it’s important for the fans to get behind the coach and players for success.  Criticism will come when it’s earned.  I don’t like the talk of let’s just get the fire (insert coach) thread started and I will see you back here in four years.

I’ll do what I’ve done the last 8 years. Won’t make an effort to get tickets to games. Watch from home if they are good and when they are bad I will just check the scores and dream for the day they take basketball seriously again.
