I know of at least 4 people who have been talked to. But I think there has been more.

At the very least you have to assume that any flights are only relevant in the very late stages. Not every guy who takes an early interview will be doing it in person, totally agree. Honestly might be a big reason no one knows much.

Just a guess but are some of the in person people tourney coaches? They’re all already in Indiana so it wouldn’t be that difficult. Harder to track by fans like is also.

So I went to Texas A&M for undergrad and IU for grad school, and I thought A&M's hysteria as rumors circulated about hiring Jimbo Fischer was the max possible level of obsession. But as I hit page 551, I think this coaching search beats it.  I love it

Chris...I do appreciate your bringing info to the board. I really do. But at this point with the Stevens fiasco, and everybody going bats__t over the rumor du jour, unless you can tell me that you got this info from Dolson, or the interviewees themselves, you can understand my skepticism.

And I probably should not have said "we don't know who Dolson has talked to". That was probably (or is) an exaggeration on my part. A couple of you guys are connected far better than 99.9% of us. But at this point, color me skeptical until the presser with Dolson.

I’m not speaking for Chris but my info has been all over anywhere from a junior high coach to Gregg Popavich.  After having egg on my face I have decided to just block most of it out and hope to be pleasantly surprised.

Fwiw, I think most of us know things can change in an instant and love the raw info. I don’t blame you for sharing what you heard at all. I just think the terms of the deal got changed and the whole thing went out the window.
