I think he means that he sees success at Northwestern, but he doesn't think he sees any evidence that would make him convinced Collins would succeed at IU to the level that he would be expected to

I am down to squash the beef. This search just has us all on edge and I’ve been especially cranky the past few days haha. Ready for it to be over. We all want what’s best for IU… sounds like we will find out soon enough. Looking forward to supporting the next coach.

He’s a decent coach and I’d be willing to give him a shot. Assuming that this flight means anything; in all likelihood it does not.

My 1st guess would be that CC seems to be content with what he's doing at a nice safe job like Northwestern. You put him at IU and the heat gets turned up 100x. Doubtful he's looking for that
