In a matter of hours we've gone from Brad Stevens to Brad Brownell and Mark Turgeon. We may not survive this search.

I want to slam my head with a toilet seat reading this troll yap about Turgeon every chance he gets.

Has me torn in my rooting interest over the next week. On the one hand, I think, "If this team just plays how it should have played all year, they could make the Sweet Sixteen." On the other, I think, "The sooner this season ends, the sooner things just resolve."

Patience is a virtue; happy to wear the uncertainty for the sake of this team giving us something to cheer for.

Two of Turgeon's last four years were worse than Mike Woodson's worst year.

So yeah - it's pretty difficult to go 7-8 seasons without a single bad team. Sadly, the Turg was not the guy who accomplished that task.

In 14 total seasons at TAMU and Maryland, Turgeon’s only season with a team worse than this year’s IU team (pre Woodson Firing) in KenPom was his first year at Maryland, which was a total rebuild. So no, you’re just straight up BS’ing here.

So basically went a decade and a half without being worse even once than this current doofus leading IU. And nevermind that he never has all the resources in the world to buy whatever players he wanted.

By no means a ringing endorsement for Turgeon, but his average B10 finish is 4th and his best team had their tournament cancelled due to COVID in a year they won the B10.

I don't think he'd be a great fit at IU, but I also didn't think he would be at Maryland either and he did alright for himself.

Willard is clearly a good coach, having been the only guy who could make Hall relevant over the last couple of decades. And in 2 of his first 3 years at Maryland, he’s had top 25 teams in Pom. So I don’t think it’s fair to say he’s worse right now.

still, yeah, my view is Turgeon was run out way too quickly and he’s a much better coach than the casual fan realizes. It’s really not easy to go 7-8 seasons in a row without a single bad team. That takes coaching chops. Dolson seems to get that.

DMV still banging that mediocre Turgeon drum. You've got to give him credit. LOL

Good morning BTB, March 2nd came and went with no Fox Sports announcement. I move to officially ban @IsaacTor

I’m only half joking.

Man of course today was a busy Monday so I had to miss all the action as it occurred live.

I’d just like to refer to my post from this morning. I called this nonsense before it happened. lol

Isn’t Turgeon doing some sort of coach consultant role now ala Eddie Fogler?  If Dolson/search firm are talking to him, it would assuredly be in that context.
No way possible despite any spin that he is a HC candidate at Indiana
