I have 30 pages to catch up on and I don’t think I have it in me this time. I’m going to jump a head. I’m assuming 1555 to 1585 is more of the same fun stuff with really no new info.  If there is would someone please be a gem and give me the cliff notes?

Honestly I would welcome it so we could definitively put an end to the Stevens chapter once and for all. Until we get something more direct, or smoke starts to leak that Dolson has been told no by him, there will always be a glimmer of hope regardless of how small. 
 

I truly believe what we are seeing is that Dolson has not been told no, or if he has, he has kept it really close to the vest (which would make very little sense not to want leaked imo). Because of this none of our insiders have heard anything to corroborate the Goodman quote and have almost to a person remained in at least the ‘maybe’ category for BS. 
 

None of that is to say I think the chances of him actually coaching here are very high, but until something clearly shows he’s out and we’ve moved on it is difficult for me to not at least wonder if it’s happening.

• We have started the coaching search in earnest.
• We have retained a search firm.
• We are speaking with agents/representatives/candidates. 
• In doing so, there are invariably numerous people at IU that will need access to this information: lawyers, athletic department staff, IT people, and more.
• Therefore, there has been an official need to have people sign an attestation that if they are in the information loop, they will keep that information confidential, under penalty of employment loss or civil action should they violate the agreed-upon confidentiality.

That would be the appropriate, professional way to proceed. That does not exclude any candidate, but it also does not signify any candidate.

Where this falls is the lack of agent chatter. Agents talk way too much.
