You go away on an ayahuasca retreat and come back to this. You guys have been getting at it. It is hard to catch-up.

Just know that Brad Stevens will be our next coach and you’re all caught up.

That’s a good pull. He was as hot as anyone and then just dropped off the face of the basketball planet.

If I remember correctly he and his wife were both a problem.

I’ve been away for about 6 hours and no new “tea” but only this creepy Barbie meme? Lol

McDermott who someone on here said he needs to stay at the mid major level is currently coaching on FS1 in a sold out Madison Square Garden against Rick Pitino for first place in the Big East

Saw the last part of that game. No disrespect to Creighton, but he looks like he could improve at a place like IU that can attract big time players.  Get over the hump, so to speak.

Kind of. She was an obnoxious drunk that was an embarrassment at games.

He had a laundry list of verbal and physical abuse allegations from former players and coaches

Creighton is up there with its basketball support.   They are 6th in average attendance while IU is 7th.   He has recruited  pretty good over there for the Big East.    We can thank him for Edey at Purdue.   Kalkbrenner chose Creighton over Purdue and recently he beat out IU for Mason Miller who I don’t think got off the bench today unless he is hurt.  But i agree a change could energize him and kids and more importantly shooters would flock to his offensive system

Ahh right. That rings a bell.

Definitely more baggage than he-who-shall-not-be-named.

I know he may or may not be on the list but I keep thinking about Alford and the Pierre Pierce thing he had at Iowa. I know it's old and that everybody has skeleton's in their closet.

He was next to never for a long time and the Mike Woodson experience put the last nail in the coffin of the former IU player experiment. I think he's a Western America lifer now from a coaching standpoint.

And this season getting Creighton where they are without having Pop Isaacs most of the year. He was averaging 16+ before he went down.

Idk if Ashworth has any eligibility after this season but if so, bring him along. I would imagine the rest Big East would be glad to be rid of him as an opponent. Aaron Craft-like in my mind except a better shooter and not quite the defensive annoyance, but both were heady and never ones to quit competing.

Guy went to the Elite 8 and 2 key guys from that team chased money instead of bringing back almost the same team (Nembhard, Kaluma) and still got to the sweet 16 the next year.  He can bring in top transfers  Baylor S(not trying to spell that last name).  I’m a fan

Is this site currently acting up for anyone else? Examples being it keeps signing you out and having ads creep down over the notification icon?

I had that happen last week when I start the Ads thread. The reason I was asking in that thread bc that was happening to me.

Like I said, no disrespect to Creighton.  I just think IU with the right coach (even sometimes with the wrong coach) can attract a few studs. We have in the past.

That’s just too big of a skeleton in today’s world.  Kind of same issue with Beard.  Anything having to do with abuse of women is a hard no for most people.
