IU05 Posted March 8 Posted March 8 @Chris007 so do I have this timing right? Hoosiers wrap up a W by 6 Celtics play tonight. Rumors of Brad coming will probably start leaking around mid afternoon tomorrow? Or will it wait til the main tournament is over? JPCIVOP, VFury, Ponduke and 2 others 1 4

Knowing what I know about this recruitment and how much the kid loves Hurley, I don’t think it matters today who we hire. But he’s not leaving Hurley for just anyone. If that’s the case then why would someone speak on multiple occasions if HC didn’t have Stevens or May lined up?

There is a risk on any coach we hire Beard off the court stuff plus he has been very average besides two years McCollum lack of D1 experience TJO wonder what happened in his two years at UNLV Drew wonder what his relationship is with the AAU coaches in Indiana. Scotty R Posted March 8 Posted March 8 3 minutes ago, IUBtown said: Now do the list of ones who didn't succeed. Can we take bets on which one is longer? Just saying the all time great coaches all started out at a lower level. If you think a coach is going to be great then it shouldn't matter where they come from.
ib4iu Posted March 8 Posted March 8 1 minute ago, IUBtown said: Now do the list of ones who didn't succeed. Can we take bets on which one is longer? Well sure but wouldn’t the comparison be better served for the top successful coaches that came from another P5 conference already? That list is pretty short too. Sampson Buzz Williams Pearl Underwood Self a quick glance at just the top 25 and without further research that’s the list I see. Scotty R 1

I'm guessing year round tampering is just status quo at this point. Seems strange that would be "allowed" not that the NCAA probably has any interest in getting in free market pissing match with players, agents, and collectives. thebigweave 1
