As soon as I heard about Woodson’s “retirement”, I reached out to the one person I knew was connected to IU leadership circles. They said Pearl would be our next coach without batting an eyelash. I dismissed it, thinking they really knew as much (meaning very little) as me. I may have been too hasty.

So what's the latest from isaac the troll. Is he calling Drew to iu now with an announcement on mah 12th pm? Or is he saying the red hot coaching genius wiodson is going to unretire

Clearly what has happened is that he posted “March 2 3pm” but he was posting from his phone and you know how autocorrect can be.

He meant to post “March 23”, so stay tuned.

After just listening to his post game presser, I’m convinced he’s our guy now. He brings up not winning much at Rupp then talks about Soutern Indiana and Evansville. He had to stop and got choked up then went into how high school basketball in KY is important. Hope he doesn’t win it all now, but I would take his Auburn team. Dude can coach.

Just spoke to him. He said stevens really wants to announce but out of respect has postponed it til after the final four. He doesn't want to disrespect Woodson if he makes a final four run. All the paperwork is signed he just can't go public yet. Isaac is thinking April 1st 4pm.

They wont touch him. Doesn't past the holier than thou test. He can coach like crazy but he won't be doing it at iu
