I could totally see Woodson jumping at the chance to keep coaching and delay the transition to his replacement. I also think he'd relish the chance to brag about how the team is winning again and how he turned it around. 

 

Officially we turned down the NIT last season, but our metrics were so bad we weren't getting a bid anyway. Turning it down was a PR move.

It was not Scott's doing that came back to bite us. It was Buckner. I'm not sure who Scott would have hired but i can tell you he did not want Woodson.
