Yesterday I decided that I wasn't going to stay on here and check-- to have a life.  Yet, here I am as my students are busy working on an assignment that I assigned by design to give me free time to check out the newest gossip.  I need to get a life. 

As another teacher currently doing the same -- I happened to plan a review day, a test day and a student work day to be able to catch up and refresh on this site.

Please let's not have any bombshells fall between 8-3 central time on Thursday.

Based on what intel?? The handful of BTB "insider" posters that consistenly have good insight to what's really going on have ALL said very recently that Beard has no shot... as in 0%.

To me, it doesn't sound like Beard is low on the candidate list - it sounds very much like he's not on the list at all and never will be.
