I haven't watched TT and have seen only a bit of UM but comparing his resume to May's, I'd take him over May. He doesn't have the FF run that May has but he has a much longer resume as HC and has done a good job everywhere he's gone with success in other tournaments. CBI and NIT Championships at North Texas, 2 D2 E8 in 2 years, as well as NJCAA runner-up and champion. I wouldn't be upset if he was hired. I think that guy would have had a HOF career and the game lost a Guy with his passing. Truthfully, I think there are a million guys with the coaching chops to succeed with the available resources here. That makes the miss with Woodson that much worse. It’s completely about the temperament to operate comfortably in this fishbowl. Example: IMO the 2 best pure coaches in CBB are Randy Bennett and John Becker, and in no universe would either of those guys make an ounce of sense for this gig.
