So Goodman was standing next to Matta a half hour ago yet somebody else broke the story that IU signed him but he failed his physical.

Snow just said he’s heard rumors about Matta and a failed physical. He also said some of what is being reported doesn’t add up and the he knows Matta never signed a deal to be the head coach.

Shows that Dolson is doing his homework and protecting IU. If Matta can’t pass a physical then IU needs to move on.

Yes, and they've been rewarded for their idiocy by having one year with a better winning percentage than Woody's last year since then (11 years)...

Woody won 53 games there his last year. His successors, Larry Drew and Mike Budenholzer, won 44, 40, 44, and 38 in subsequent years...

Edit: I wouldn’t have mined Matta assuming healthy. But if this means no Beard/Musselman/Moser I wonder who we’re going after besides.... Woodson.

Feel for Matta and his health. He would be excellent if healthy. If he isn’t then hopefully he can continue a road to better health. 
 

IUBB will carry on the search. Still plenty of top coaches out there.
