I've been off forums for a few years now...... Well bc IU hoops has been off for a few years now.  

I'm sure Michigan regrets their decision now, but when they wanted Harbaugh they basically took their A team and a dump truck full of money and wouldn't leave until they got their man.  IU needs to do this now with Stevens.  Just go get him for F#$%'s sake.  

Was comparing Archie going 0-9 against Purdue to Harbaugh w/ OSU this morning and am now seeing Harbaugh being compared to the lord and savior Stevens! What a world and hopefully Stevens turns out a little better than Harbaugh has.

What are they meeting about?  I can’t imagine the deal they are making

Celtics play tomorrow on National TV and I think a press conference follows so be interesting to see if he is asked about the IU opening.

Stevens is the only name that gets me excited about Indiana Basketball.  I will not waste another minute on the Hoosiers again unless he is hired or we start winning again.  I have almost converted to being a Bellarmine Knights fan.  Scotty Davenport invites my son and his team to come watch games.  The Bellarmine players play hard nosed basketball, compete every possession and are fun to watch.

Being a Magic fan from back in the Penny Hardaway days,  this would make me smile.  Have no clue what kind of coach he is.

He will be asked about it. And he will most likely deny any interest. Or he will say he's fully committed to the Celtics.

And while I think the chances of him leaving Boston for IU are extremely remote, whatever he says won't necessarily mean anything because ... What is he supposed to say?

And the fact that shams, or woj have not shot it down yet it a bit curious IMO. Seems like one of them would have shot the rumor down by now if it was a pipe dream by IU..

You think less than 12 hours from the initial announcement they are going to start shooting down Stevens rumors? These guys aren't IU beat reporters, although some of them are more interested in soccer these days.
