I don't know as much about Wade other than maybe he's just too slippery to work with? That is complete speculation on some things I read about him though. Don't take that as gospel. I don't see Wade as a risk to do something to embarrass the U as much as just be a pain for administration consistently. Beard has the potential to embarrass and divide the university and fanbase. Had we never gone after someone like KS back then, there might be some ability to take a chance on someone now. If the lying to LSU admin stories are true (I haven’t read much about it), that is a character/integrity issue Scott would have to get comfortable with.
