I think ideally they would love to have the hire in place in the next 72 hrs. Unfortunately it’s probably going to be more like next weekend after whomever gets knocked out. The portal does open 3/24 so who knows how much time/effort they can put into it right away. Hell if there is some agreement in place verbally you would wonder if said coach doesn’t have people already working on portal things but then again, odds are whoever we hire is also preparing a current team for the tournament.

No, it depends at least on 1) is the coach’s team still playing, 2) are we still playing,  and 3) has the candidate (or candidates) made a decision
