They play next week in tournament IU won’t be in I could see IU releasing an official statement and press conference the day after or two after Drake loses. Just my take. Could be no precedent for that. Lol…

The Goodman tweet definitely was instigated by his side IMO Meaning like formally announced? I wouldn't expect an announcement if it were him until after Thursday or Friday. Assuming they lose in 1st rd. Who knows though the landscape is changing in CBB. Home Jersey 1

Got it. McDermott is a solid hire. Clearly he’s a solid hire, but an older coach in football is different than in basketball. Football is more like the CEO of a large organization—the coordinators largely run practice. In basketball the coach is actively participating in practice and teaching. That’s not to say that an older guy can’t be excellent (some clearly are) but there is more potential for an older guy to wear down physically and with their motivation as they get into their 60’s. It was one of several Woody downfalls when he started. St. John’s did the basketball equivalent because they needed to take a short term shot. It’s paying off. They will need a new coach within a couple years. I guess if you are ok knowing it’s a 4-6 year cycle then it doesn’t matter as much. And people lose energy as they age not the opposite. So at that age you are probably getting the best version immediately. Edited March 14 by WayneFleekHoosier Stuhoo and lillurk 2

A basketball practice is also a significantly shorter and in an air-conditioned environment. No one tell Pitino! Home Jersey and str8baller 2

That offense is gorgeous, and you know he isn't coming here to "rebuild " No, I didn't say anything about a 4-6 yr cycle. Doesn't make sense why we'd pigeon your ourselves to that?
