I think more teams will go with a GM because there is to much work for the HC to do all of the recruiting. Wasn't it mentioned in the Stevens rumors that he wanted a GM.

Gotta be consistent...if you're not going to believe he was ever in play, you can't act like we knew he wanted a GM...[emoji4]

So the Spaces is talking about NC State right now. The group talking is of the opinion that Drake to NC State might be too big of an immediate leap for McCollum. Take that for what it's worth as it applies to what their thoughts would be, regarding the IU job.

I'll give any coach a chance even if I'm not thrilled about the hire with one exception. If Facial Hair is hired I'll no longer be a fan. There are a few names that is think would make it clear that IU is fine with being mediocre, though.

Yup…and according to Andershock with Peegs, McCollum isn’t even Iowa’s first choice…it’s Devries and McCollum is one their back ups if Devries says “no.”
