mike vannice Posted April 21, 2025 Posted April 21, 2025 Not sure where to put this but just curious. Do we have anyone on the look out for foreign bigs. There seems to be a huge influx of international players joining the college ranks due to NIL $$$. Maybe one who is 7' 0" and rebound ,block shots and rim run. pumpfake and ebridges24 2 Quote

Put him in the group of players entering the portal hoping a lawsuit gives them another year. MemphisHoosier 1 Quote

Is it possible that coaches know something we don't about the court case. It's a helluva gamble. Brzovic, Shefflin, Lampkin,,,any one of them would be a major get for us. Quote

His minutes at FAU just about matched his minutes per game his sophomore year at FSU, but his numbers almost doubled playing at a lower level of completion. FortWayneHoosier 1 Quote
Class of '66 Old Fart Posted April 22, 2025 Posted April 22, 2025 Goodman- Arkansas guard Boogie Fland is expected to enter the transfer portal, source told @TheFieldOf68. Fland declared for the NBA Draft, but isn't a lock to go in the first round - and can likely make more money next season returning to college. And that's just crap that this is what NIL has led to. mamasa and BannerVille 2 Quote

Another way of looking at it? These kids may get a college degree and have more maturity before leaving because of the financial inducement to stay in college longer lillurk 1 Quote

I was trying to figure out where college becomes more appealing in terms of money, and I believe for 2nd rounders that aren’t confident they can get guaranteed deals (so they get stuck with a two way deal where they can be sent to the G-League), college hoops is often a better option. Heck, with the rev share kicking up college values, if you aren’t a first rounder college is probably your best bet. TJD managed to get a guaranteed deal in the second round and that was huge for him. lillurk 1 Quote
