The way I see it is that Goodman thought it would be a good move, but he thought IU was a dumpster fire and no way would fife leave a great program like MSU for us. So he threw that tweet out there to troll IU. But now instead of saying it’s a great move for IU, he trolls us again.

Actually, I think he was referring to Fife being a great player at IU. As in,  well maybe great would be an exaggeration, but .....

My thought was that Goodman was making a pun with Great Dane, and saying that the pun was a little forced

I can see how you got that. I didn't see it that way, but could see Goodman having a thought process like that. Thanks for explaining it to me.

Yeah it’s a little obnoxious we’re giving him this much attention. IU basketball is way bigger than Jeff Goodman. He’s using us as a stepping stone.
