Those are the only 2. I think it´s clear that Woody wants an athletic 7 footer. Chris007 and WayneFleekHoosier 2 Quote

Best of luck to the kid. He’s been here a long time and endured a lot. I still think he’s got some good college basketball in him. It appears the staff wants another 5 to fill in, right? Makes the Brunk transfer interesting, as others have noted. He was a freebie on the roster. Do your thing, Coach Woodson! I’m ready for a Top 15 team. Well said. I imagine Brunk simply isn’t a stylistic fit on the court. Not a good rebounder for his height, no threat outside the paint, slow enough to be a defensive liability...everyone likes him, it seems, but you’ve got to win games. Not to mention the potential impact of his injury, surgery, recovery. Hoosierfanyuh, Stromboli, FWHoosier84 and 1 other 4 Quote
lillurk Posted May 13, 2021 Posted May 13, 2021 Looking at true 5s and not really combo forwards tells me they believe Race will get lots of time at the 4. I guess it’s also possible they want a situational 7’ guy for some matchups. JaybobHoosier and hoosierbgh 2 Quote

madmax Posted May 13, 2021 Posted May 13, 2021 Didn’t someone literally just post a couple days ago Hunter talking about how much he loved Woodson on social media. I’m guessing this wasn’t mutual. lillurk, Hoosierfanyuh, ElectricBoogaloo and 3 others 5 1 Quote

hper50 Posted May 13, 2021 Posted May 13, 2021 I wish Jerome well. Unfortunately Chronic Hoosier put it best - Jerome seemed to lead the team in "dgaf". I hope he lands somewhere and finds success WayneFleekHoosier 1 Quote

He would have to really focus on improvements to get a glimmer of playing time next season. I am sure he will but I see him only getting 1-3 minutes per game. There will only be ten (or so) rotation players. If there are dedicated culture enhancers that have schollys that is excellent. If those kids become rotation players that is even better. Leal and Galloway will help us win whether they see real game minutes or not. Apparently Jerome Hunter was not assessed similarly. Quote

I remember Yogi's freshman year and the number of times he tried that jump pass cutting across the baseline. He broke the habit and I believe Galloway can also. As to Jerome, it's pretty obvious to me that CMW made this decision for Jerome in the manner it was announced. No tweet from Jerome announcing his decision to enter the portal and thanking IU, etc., etc., etc. Just CMW stating he's outta here. Trish 1 Quote
