To an extent. There’s always those pro teams that have an incredibly high payroll and stink. Still have to be able to build a team, have a coherent philosophy and scout talent. 

I know. Big difference between pro and college though. You bring in enough talent and you can compete well. Maybe not win a championship but you can do well I believe

I’ve only seen him in that semistate game. IMHO he needs more time to mature. But, hey, I trust Woody to do what he thinks is best.

In the handful of games I watched of FSU, he always stood out. Pretty fluid stroke.

An outstanding Hoosier Hysterics podcast with Coach Ya is now online. Of course, he cannot talk about specific portal recruits. However...

Some interesting first best quotes takeaways from Ya:

1. On IU portal recruiting: "This portal has been a lot. But, we got something to smile about today, and hopefully in the next couple of days and in about a week or so we'll have some more to smile about."
2. On choosing who to recruit from the portal with NIL: "There are guys in the portal that are just looking for money. They're just straight looking for money. Those 3 came to mind when I read the tweet.  Now if the other 2 would pay off we'd have a homerun portal.
