I watched Marshall quite a bit just to watch the Kinsey kid who is a stud so I really didn’t pay attention to the big kid.   I knew they played a freshman big that was holding his own but that team was all about taevion Kinsey.

A Johnson/Love backcourt would be explosive, good or bad.  That's the kind of move that makes a coach look like a genius or an incredible idiot.

That's my reservation about him.  He could be a big help, or it could blow up spectacularly and I don't know if we have the locker room leadership needed for it to work.

Meaning Woody doesn't have as much time because he's going to be laid up for a little bit shortly after the dead period ends. Could it impact portal recruiting? Who knows? Hopefully he lands the main targets before that time comes.

Interesting how many bigs IU is still pursuing. I know nothing is for sure (just look at Shedricks cut-down list!) but even with Sparks in the fold we're clearly looking for more bodies in the post.

Love may make a decision soon but it has nothing to do with the JHS announcement. Everyone around the program already knew this was happening.

I think a couple of things are at play here. One is you can only pick from who’s actually in the portal at the time. They may have reason to believe more wings are coming within the week.

Two: they ain’t taking all the bigs they’ve contacted.
