IU also gave up just 1.29 point per minute when Galloway was in, 1.89 per minute when he wasn't. Quote

I guess it is that time of the year when Iowa takes a nosedive! It's funny going back reading the comments in here. The freshman need more time, player X is way better than player Y! Then the stats look completely different.. He just needs more minutes to get in a rhythm! Again, the stats tell a different story. Regardless of class, position or whatever, the entire TEAM needs to play better. Shooting FREE THROWS shouldn't be THAT difficult! That's several more Ws, a team that's ranked, and safely in the tourney. Yet, here we are.. Bench played big and Iowa's bench......was ugly. Quote

rcbowla Posted February 7, 2021 Posted February 7, 2021 Had to watch on delay. Good win. Race Thompson is my favorite player of the Archie era. Close 2nd is Juwan. Now I still have zero confidence they'll string this together with 1 or 2 more wins.Sent from my Pixel 3a XL using Tapatalk coonhounds 1 Quote

Certainly her biggest contribution of the day as she is someone who rarely plays. I don't mean that as an insult at all but I am sure that made the entire locker room very happy. Can't tell if Mackenzie Holmes while sitting down is checking score as well or if she is looking at something else on her phone but she is definitely a difference maker and best player on the team. She is the women's teams version of Trayce Jackson-Davis (same position) but even better as a player than he is and more dominant inside. Quote
bleedhoosier Posted February 8, 2021 Posted February 8, 2021 Anyone seen a replay schedule yet? Quote
cthomas Posted February 8, 2021 Posted February 8, 2021 In this time of instant gratification, if a kid isn't contributing immediately, he must not be any good. Through most of my time watching IU basketball freshmen were either not eligible to play or not expected to do anything. Then maybe they would play a little as a sophomore and then really start being an integral part by their junior year. That's the way teams were built. Now if a kid isn't projected to be an impact freshman, we shouldn't bother with him. This team is showing fight. Maybe they win or maybe they don't, but I haven't seen any quit in them for quite some time. These kids are getting better regardless of what the record says. Today, they won a game that I thought was lost for sure. I see that as progress, regardless of whether or not CAM is the answer. Ryno6284, Str8Hoosiers, HoosierAloha and 4 others 7 Quote

We’re just too potent with him on the court. Add Leal/Galloway and you have our best lineup to include Race, Franklin and TJD. Geronimo comes in with Rob, Al and Hunter if he’s still on the team as subs; and we’re at our best. Those freshmen just know how to win and play smart, IU bball. Hoosierfan2017 1 Quote
