He just got outcoached by a first year coach, time doesn't matter, you either have it, or you don't,  Archie doesn't.

Jesus Christ....if you are going to fire shots, at least be accurate.  Eric Musselman is now a first year coach?  Yeah, at Arkansas.  Dude just won 110 games in four years at Nevada and made three straight tournament appearances.

No we don't.  Absolutely not.  We aren't stuck with this bum.  Fire him.  Fire him now..

Archie is a great example of the Peter principle. And keeping him is a great example of escalation of commitment.

Man, just so frustrating. I’m normally an Archie supporter, but have to admit I’m starting to think if one of “the best young coaches in the game” can’t win and be more consistent here, who can?

Plenty of coaches can win here. The better question is, can they win enough to satisfy this fanbase? The older generations aren't easy to please, and social media preys on every mistake. I don't think this job is as good as people make it out to be.

Archie Miller has all the tools, resources and support he needs to have a better team than this in his third season. At this point, I'm not sure he'll even reach Tom Crean levels of success. Crean at least won a couple conference titles. Right now there are at least four or five programs in our own conference that are way, way ahead of us.

New coaching staff isn’t going to help, unless we’re willing to play the game. We can continue to play the carousel with coaches competing against a system that favors cheating or join the game. It’s really that simple... unless we get lucky and find another Bobby Knight.

A coach can make all the adjustments and give all the instruction in the world and it doesn’t mean s*** if the team doesn’t or can’t execute it. Our fans have no idea what adjustments Miller tried to make but I’m pretty sure his advice wasn’t to abandon the post and start heaving threes. I doubt he asked Armaan to pass him the ball. I doubt he suggested that Green start throwing the ball to Arkansas players, etc...

He picked this team. 7 of the 11 scholarship players are his. And only his.

1 of which hired a coach more recently.

I’m sure Miller went into halftime and said “Look, we REALLY have to stop feeding TJD”...

Really going out on a limb there aren’t you? He could have called a timeout at any point during that 15-1 run and change the scheme. Instead I saw a lot of TJD out at the 3 point line handing the ball off. What is the offensive plan anyway? I’m not sure I really understand what we’re trying to do at times

You're talking about recruiting.  We're talking about coaching to win games.

The upperclassmen on this team are flat out non leaders. Davis is a follower. Green is a selfish player. Smith pretty obviously doesn’t love basketball. Brunk hasn’t been there long enough and I’m not sure he’ll ever be good enough.  And we may all love Al, but a leader doesn’t get himself tossed for a reason that stupid. This team is gonna lose a lot of games this year that it could win because the on court leadership and mental toughness is for s**t. Hard team to watch.

And to think this performance was right In front of the key recruits he needs to land in 2021, this is bad.

He probably wouldn't get any of them anyway. Every year, I'm hopeful that we'll finally land that blockbuster class that gets us back in the national spotlight, and every year we end up signing mostly fringe 3/4 star recruits and wondering why we don't win more.

Exactly who is going to replace Archie? Are you guys willing to go through ANOTHER rebuild? We're not done with the current rebuild, we have Tom Crean recruits still on this team that continue to hurt us (sometimes help).

YES!  Burn it all down, start higher up this time, and try again.  This ain't working

Recruits that are coming in aren't going to make a difference to what this current team is. It will be the same thing next year and if tjd leaves it will be a .500 or less team next year.

Good coaches don’t always need rebuilds. Why do people think you have to have a rebuild. Holtmann didn’t need a rebuild. Sean Miller didn’t need a rebuild. Arkansas apparently didn’t.

archie is making mistakes that time won’t solve. He’s had more than enough time to get shooters and he should have known his Packline was done with the rule change

I'm not smart enough to determine Archie's acumen as a coach. I'm still willing to give him the benefit of the doubt. But what really chaps my a$$ is that in the three years here, he's failed to recruit anybody who can shoot the basketball (maybe next year's class will be different). We cannot continue making 4 and 5 and 6 3-pointers a game.

Pro, college and high school ball -- it's about hitting 3s. Steph Curry is a superstar for one reason -- he has range to 35 feet. We won't succeed until we can make shots. Pounding the ball inside to TJD and getting fouled a hundred times a game is all fine and good, but when you're making 9 of 18 FTs and 5 of 21 3s, you're gonna lose. When you're making 2s and the other team is making 3s, simple math gives you your answer.
