FAU has a very big, very strong, pretty quick defensive 7 footer and on offense the spread the floor and shoot threes. And then a potential very hot Duke team?!? Oh goodness that’s a suck draw for Puredoo. Purdue’s style of play doesn’t work in this tournament. They don’t have the guard play to win consistently. I also agree on FAU. Any athletic team who can shoot gives Purdue problems. Heck, that’s the case against most B1G teams really MemphisHoosier and tkbbn 2 Quote
Popular Post Stuhoo Posted March 12, 2023 Popular Post Posted March 12, 2023 Miami’s only excellent post defender just got injured with a real ankle problem. Marcus Sasser may miss time for Houston with a groin injury. We may or may not win games, but this is an absolute dream draw. tkbbn, IU - Kaulie, Hoosierfan1901 and 11 others 14 Quote

Popular Post Stuhoo Posted March 12, 2023 Popular Post Posted March 12, 2023 Let’s put it this way, Purdue as a one seed has a far easier first game than us, but after that? Every game to the Elite 8 for them is a tougher draw than ours. lillurk, hoosierfan6157, ALASKA HOOSIER and 6 others 9 Quote

RaceToTheTop Posted March 12, 2023 Posted March 12, 2023 Tried applying a lot of ideas that @Uspshoosierhas talked about in making my bracket this year. Last year went totally with my WAR ratings, this year only looked at them for 'tie breaker' types of things. Using the bracket matrix scoring system, last year I was around 320 and only beat a few of the veterans they list (USPS I think had a score that put him in the top 15%). My bracket this year scored a 352, which when compared to last year's bracket scores would have put my 65th out of 148 of those who have been posting their brackets for at least three years. About to do USPS's score....expect he will once again be higher than me and expect his will be near in the upper tier when compared to those on bracketmatrix.
