Did you watch the last two games?

I didn't watch the last game but I watched the one before it. They were crappy games. Teams have crappy games sometimes. Idk, I guess this is what I expected from the Duke game so I'm not upset about it. They're a much better team than we are so it shouldn't be surprising that we're losing. Romeo is great, but they have three guys as good or better than him.

Good response from the team in the second half. Reassuring to see. Plenty to improve upon, but this Duke team is more talented than the 2011-2012 UK team. First half was an absolute embarrassment and the TOs unacceptable, but we have some fight and talent. And Archie very clearly can see where our flaws exist.

pretty sure he was in the 30-35% range

Really?? I love Ro, and want him to be successful at IU, but I’m not taking him #5 if I’m an NBA GM with those numbers. Honestly, no bias, you’d take Romeo over guys like Happ and Rui Hachimira?

I'm perplexed at Justin Smith and how he's gone from a major plus to someone who seems to have lost their entire basketball IQ. This Duke team, coming off a lost playing an injured IU team...they were going to win. But sloppy and low IQ play has been our noose.

I guess we will give him the crean 5 year honeymoon.

I didn’t give Crean any years so I guess I can’t judge too harshly on people being upset with Archie.

You two must have missed the last two games prior to this one. This isn’t an anomaly. This is a trend. The turnovers, the lack of any semblance of an offense, the lack of verbal leadership on the court, the lack of adjustments by the coaching staff, etc. The Marquette game was the outlier. Just because it’s your opinion doesn’t make it a “rational” opinion. It just makes it your opinion.

The last two games had nothing to do with our team's skill level. Those were both all effort. When it was time to turn it on they turned it on and won easily. If it was a talent problem then I would be concerned, but you can improve on effort.

People are free to think whatever they want, but I think declaring the season doomed after tonight is silly. Tonight's takeaway is that Duke is a much better team than IU, which isn't a new revelation. We all knew that before the game started.
