We played great for 36 minutes—collapsed at the end. Proud of my Hoosiers —if we hit some free throws we could have won this one. So close to the upset. Duke is amazing. They still get every call—and one—and one—and one—all night long. We are getting better. We are well coached. We are going to be alright! The Hall still has the magic. We’ve got to stick with this team because they have some wins in them and could sneak into the tourney in what’s looking like a subpar Big Ten so far. Lots of optimism here. Go Hoosiers!

Archie had a good game plan going in but Davis should've been on the bench to close the game. Can't have a guy who is a terrible FT shooter out there in a game with this many fouls.

Gotta have him out there. The offense flows through him and he was a problem for Duke during most of his minutes. Otherwise you're paying more of a perimeter game with a team that struggles to shoot the ball when they're open, let alone when the opposition's defense is tightening down late in the game.

But I agree. Gotta hit 'em. If I'm DD I'm shooting free throws in a triple digit quantity before I go to bed tonight.

Great freaking game by IU.. we fell short but played way better than I thought we would have. So pleased. Johnson did a hell of a job on Allen. He's annoying but dide can hit very difficult shots. And Davis is a fn animal down low. We are gonna be okay kids!!

Allen is very sneaky, too. He uses that elbow to clear space a lot and does it in such a way that the ref can't see. He pushes off on many of those shots, but is smart enough to not get caught. I'm trying not to complain about the refs -- that's just the way it is. If you don't get caught, it ain't a foul.

I’m satisfied with this game. I expected a blow out and loved watching us compete. Gotta knock those free throws down when we get the chance. The only thing I’m worried about with this team at the moment is us getting up for other games. Obviously it’s home against the #1 team so we play hard, but can we do it against the Michigan’s, Iowa’s, Northwestern’s too. Teams were certainly capable of beating.

All in all, great effort against a great team, didn’t go our way at the end there but it will in the future. Keep improving and we’ll be blown away with where we’re at in March.
