Lets get a bye week prediction thread for IU poll movement, being that this never happens, I am rooting for big bye week win with losses for the other two 18s, 17,16, 14, 13 and both 11s. Could be a big week for us lol.

I continue picking the winner...Indiana, of course.  And I continue to underestimate their scoring and winning the loose balls.  I continue to overestimate the other team's efficiencies.

And I'm exceptionally pleased with Indiana's performances as a team...and the coaches' faith and decision-making.    

The day I put serious money on any sport is the day I lose my shirt.

Thanks for the opportunity for me to reemphasize that I really do not know how to predict scores and performances closely.   it is very interesting and fun.  I can deal with that.

And those top tier of 1 through 28 in this are cheating.  The fix is in. It's not fair.

3 way tie for the win this week with @Demo @Stuhoo and @thebigweave scoring 132 pts. @DireBump joined Demo and Stu in getting IU's score right while @AH1971 @DChoosier @Loaded Chicken Sandwich @MemphisHoosier @Napleshoosier @realTomCrean @Rico @taco corp and the Average join the weave in getting UW's score right. Might've been quicker to note who didn't get the bonus.

I'm waiting to hit the lottery.  I won once.  Back in 1971, I won the Vietnam lottery and got into submarines.  Really lucky.  Submariners do it deeper and not up the Mekong.

Exactly.  What can I say?

I have watched almost every single IU football game since the late 60's.  Wife and I went to BGSU in NE Ohio a few years back and saw IU lose.  Both my daughters graduated from that state school.  One still watches and cheers for IU basketball.  She got offered a scholarship to IU in graphic design but declined it.  Long story.

I had Jade Butcher in one of my speech classes at IU.  Met others in '69 from the earlier Rose Bowl team.

Saw Lee Corso and the IU team at OSU...for the photo op just before the half.

I am not happy with this team and the head football coach.  What happened to the old Indiana University football traditions? (snark, as if you cant tell)

This season is a miracle.  They do deserve to be ranked in the single digits.  Coach Cig's confidence is contagious.  He is incredible to have done what he is doing.  And my earlier post was only partially the way I really feel.

More questions remain...but they are not going to be negative ones.  Because we know the team will be in there fighting and attacking all game long.  Well done.
