Add Briscoe from pUKe today. Man pUKe fans in the office are slamming him for declaring with an agent, say no way he gets drafted, he can't shoot. LMAO!

I couldn't stand him as a player, but I'm sad to see him go. They were worse with him on the floor lol no chance in hell he makes it in the league

Willis didn't get his? I mean I know he isn't smart enough to spell d-e-g-r-e-e, but I thought he could spell s-i-s-t-e-r during the spelling bee.

Just did a quick interweb search, and I can't find any evidence that either WIllis or Hawkins will get a college degree, though I suppose they might.

UK has won one title in ten years of the Calipari era, and there has been only one Cal-recruited scholly player (Poythress) that received a UK degree during that time (though I think Hawkins may get one). The team plays in an off-campus arena, and their players stay at a private lodge. They only attract high-end players who have the specific goal of staying for as short a time as possible.

This year they will likely lose Fox, Monk, Willis, Abedayo, Mulder, Briscoe, Humphries, and Hawkins. That's eight of their top nine. If Gabriel goes, their top returning scorer will be Wynard, a Kyle Taber-like player who averaged 0.7 ppg last season.

With a new top eight full of five star players, the polls will undoubtedly make the exact same mistake from so many other years, and rank them way, way, way too high. They will be turnover prone and weak in outside shooting when they play accomplished teams.

They are a failure

No matter their W-L record they are failures BECAUSE they are Kentucky.

Judging by the UK boards, Cal has already started to wear out his welcome a little bit.

I'm sure they like the success, but their fans are getting tired of so much turnover on the roster after every season.  Now with word that Humphries is likely to pursue professional options instead of return to UK, they'll have a completely green team next season.

I also saw that Sasha Jones or whatever his name is could supposedly transfer as well.  He was a 5* last year.

I mean it's not like they're really winning that much anyway. That national title team was great, but other than that...??? They've had some fun players I guess.

Consistently getting to the Elite Eight and Final Four. But yeah, struggling to get over those hurdles. Kinda hard to really complain though, right? I mean, who's been more successful in the past 10 years?

Yeah I suppose it's all relative.  For some reason they think it's realistic to be in the Final 4 and compete for a national championship every year, so they can't be satisfied with winning the conference and getting to the Elite 8 pretty much every year, Final 4 at least every 3 or 4 years.

I mean, most schools would kill for that, but they just won't allow themselves to be happy.

To be fair, I bet the Indiana fanbase would start grumbling if we only won the title once in ten years with those teams lol.

We would start complaining with lesser teams. Hell we would say we would be happy with those results until it happened.

I'd kill for their results for sure. But when you couple how they're doing it (not necessarily cheating, but the constant turnover in the program) with the crazy amount of talent that's been there, it's kind of been lame. It's a weird situation.

The media talked about how insatiable our fan base was when we called for FCTC to be ousted, but living in southern Indiana and working in looserville, I can tell you that pUKe fans are truly unsatisfiable. Honestly I think they can marry their 2nd cousins for christs sake, what more do they want their sisters too!

Yep had it not been for the NBA lockout they wouldn't have even won the title they did win.

Excellent analysis & spot on. I wasn't aware of the lack of degrees and even UKfans can't like this.
