Yogi's Picnic Basket Posted July 26, 2017 Posted July 26, 2017 Wow!! These kids look awesome in such a short amount of time with Clif. This is why I freaked out about landing him. Program changer. Kids on social media HAVE to notice the work he can do for them. I expect a better year than most because number 20 looks awesome and is gonna have a monster year.Sent from my LGLS676 using BtownBanners mobile app Dalton26, waitingon6 and ALASKA HOOSIER 3 Quote
HoosierMatt Posted July 26, 2017 Posted July 26, 2017 Davis apparently the overall 'winner' in player development with Marshall. A most cryptic tweet from our head coach.Arch MillerVerified account @Archie_Miller OFF SEASON is when you earn the right to be great, proud of entire team, efficient and got results! One stood out above all though! To be De'Ron, you have to beat De'Ron and Baby...He's De'Ron! Wooooooo!!!! swatford Posted July 26, 2017 Posted July 26, 2017 Not to be a Debbie downer, but it looks that lighting, flexing, and also a little tanning are the main things making it appear there's a difference in those pics. I'm sure the guys have made progress this summer and if the figures quoted above (deron's vertical going up 8 inches) are true than they have made excellent progress. Although I will say in deron's case it's abundantly clear he's made great progress. thebigweave, lillurk, moyemayhem and 4 others 7 Quote
ChiHoosier5 Posted July 26, 2017 Posted July 26, 2017 That vertical is what i am most excited about. We can be skeptical because Crean used to always pump those numbers too, but with how much weight he lost and thinner he looks, could definitely see it being that much. Way too many times last year I wanted De'Ron to through down a powerful dunk when he had the chance, but he would more often than not just lay it in. He obviously had many injuries, but I am excited to see those be dunks this year. IUBBFan1970 and GloryDays 2 Quote

Hoosierfan2017 Posted July 26, 2017 Posted July 26, 2017 Fake news, fake news! Lol. Even though the differences probably aren't as big as they seem, it still looks impressive to the recruits that see the pictures. ALASKA HOOSIER 1 Quote
Popular Post bigrod Posted July 26, 2017 Popular Post Posted July 26, 2017 I'm not sold on Clif Marshall yet. I guess I need to see him fanatically running around on the sidelines before I really know we have a good strength coach. Crimson and Cream, ALASKA HOOSIER, GloryDays and 8 others 11 Quote

Hopefully that mind set goes away. I think Clif will have the common decency to know his role on the bench. Stromboli, cthomas, mdn82 and 2 others 5 Quote

Hoosierfan2017 Posted July 27, 2017 Posted July 27, 2017 Juwan Morgan alleged added 8.5 inches to his vertical this summer. If legit that'd be huge. Quote

I didn't want to be the first to say something but it's more than a little silly. Lighting, flexing, pictures before a workout vs right after a workout when swollen, etc. Still looks like they've been putting in a ton of work. I'm just a little thrown by the obvious tricks. moyemayhem, Crimson and Cream and ALASKA HOOSIER 3 Quote
