Bryant will need of summer in the weight room and dance hall to be a dominate low post scorer. His freshman year he excelled from offensive rebounds for putbacks and Yogi dropping him dimes. Bryant's footwork isn't good enough to be dominant in the B1G.

That may be true but it's a hell of lot better position for him to succeed than on the wing

Completely agree. IF Bryant returns it will be best for him and IU to play in the post. He's not going to play on the perimeter in the NBA, he just doesn't have that game. Archie should utilize him in the post depending on the lineup and matchup. He CAN be a dominant big after a good summer. That's where he'll make his money.

It's no coincidence that he would've been a 1st round pick after showing his stuff freshman season. He was in the post. That's where he should be at all times

A good overview article from the Crimson Quarry.

Very hot take on Keion Brooks, which will be added to the Keion Brooks thread.

Lots of great info to come from this, I'd love if we could end up with Brooks in 2019.  Schilling should camp out in that family's front yard.

Also I'm going to go out on a limb and predict Phinisee will be Archie Miller's first commitment at IU, not including the 2017 guys to reaffirm their commitments.  I think he really wants to come here.

The big question is if TB leaves, can Clifton Moore fill the shoes as our next point center?  I want to see crazy hedging out to the half court line, at least 5 threes a game, and 4 TO's dribbling outside the arc.

This is true. How will we ever go on without our players in bad positions every time down the court?

Not unless he can develop a Sam Perkins-esque game. Someone not athletic but hits open shots at a high rate.

Otherwise TB better work on Post O & D if he wants a sniff of big-boy ball.

Clifton Moore reminds me of Jarred Uthoff. I'd be thrilled if he can become that good.

If he develops into a Jarred Uthoff type player that would be stellar. I would want him to bulk up to play a bit more in the post and to be a better defender.

Jonathon Giovanny tweeted a story about some kids today and Moore was one. Basically to sum it up he said he could be an NBA player if he learns how to be more aggressive. All Moore's knocks were things that could easily change and should. I believe that he won't be here for 4 years and think his sophomore year he is gonna be one of our top players. Him and DD along with Smith, Phinisee and Romeo would compete for a title. Romeo is still a long shot but that would be awesome team. Juwan probably still starts but Moore will be our 6th man.

Point being the future is BRIGHT at IU under Archie.

I think Jallow will be the first since he is so close to campus. He will also be the first recruit that Archie & staff host on campus this week. I agree that Phinisee won't be long after.

jnewkirk1 on snapchat if anyone is interested in checking it out. It's cool seeing all the guys together having a good time. With everything I've seen on social media the past month or so it looks like we're going to have great team chemistry next season.

That would be good.

I just don't see Moore being the sixth man even if TB stays in the draft.
